The Bible tells us, Jesus did not start out as "a" God and "we" showed YOU the progression of stages over Jesus's life = YOU might have to actually read the verses I post, pretty simple's. = Repeat, read the verses "we" gave you!
Simple clarity --> John 17:18 - As thou hast sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world
So come on smarty, did Jesus send them out as babies etc as per your references following = NO!
Did Jesus lead, guide and teach them "first" before "sending" them into the world as is --> as thou has sent me into the world even so have I sent them = YES!
Jesus as was promised to Moses Deu 18:18 was raised, led and taught by His God and Father, from childhood and then at around the age of 30, was SENT out into the world.
Luke 3:22 - And the Holy Ghost descended in a bodily shape like a dove upon him, and a voice came from heaven, which said, Thou art my beloved Son; in thee I am well pleased.
John 12:49 - For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak. = The Word = The Word "of" God.
John 3:34 - For he whom God hath sent speaketh the words of God: for God giveth not the Spirit by measure unto him.
Luke 4:18 - The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the Good News (Flesh) to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,
John 6:63 - It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words (God & Fathers) that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.
(So naturally, this includes God's word without measure as well, the final top up of them).
There is one little problem with your statement. The bible tells us no such a thing, (It does) and what is not clear to other readers is that you do not believe Jesus to be God. You regard Jesus to be a man. = Based on WHAT the Bible tells us, so it's not a matter of what "I" regard but what the One Spirit if Truth tells us, dictates to US.
Acts 17:31 - Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead.
Lets be clear you said that God send Jesus "after he was baptised" ..... (Yes lets be CLEAR = sent out INTO THE WORLD IS WHAT I SAID, after he was Baptized) You are of course ignoring Simeon in Luke (I am doing nothing of a sort, YOU are simpl not understanding the Whole truth, as shown above) that when he saw Jesus as a baby 'moved by the holy spirit' praised God by saying "For my eyes have seen your salvation" and prophet Anna who gave thanks to god for the child who was going to be the redemption of Jerusalem. What about when Jesus stayed in Jerusalem as a child and debated with the priests and said to Mary "Didn't you know I had to be in my father's house?" So it appears that not all scriptures support your view that he was "Sent after his baptism."
My Fathers house, and we know the Father is also Jesus's God = Jesus is not the Almighty God and Father.
Luke 1:32 - He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David:
Clearly Jesus knew this before Baptism = so this means absolutely zero with regards to when Jesus was "officially" sent out into the world.
Now if you go and search ALL the verses you will find in several verses, TWO clear distinctions and often in the SAME verse;
I came out from, came forth from, down from heaven God AND sent into the world.
Out from, came forth, down from as in Isa 55:10-11 - For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater:
So shall my word be (Spoken, expressed word) that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.
Bread --> Hence Jesus said he was that bread = Titus 1:2 - In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began; = The Rock, the plan = The Bread, Glory of the Almighty God and Fathers.
Hence Jesus being slain before the foundation of the world, or before the world existed with God alone = the plan existed with him (God).
The meaning of the name Jesus = the likes of God is Salvation, God IS our saviour as the OT and NT shows us and what you chose to IGNORE is, the plan was always to be fulfill through this future one and when the times were fulfilled, Baptism timing, God put all things into Jesus's hands.
John 3:35 - The Father loveth the Son, and hath given all things into his hand.
Jesus is the means of, God's salvation, so naturally we can say he and God are our saviour.
Meaning of the Name Jesus = The likes of God's salvation, God saves, rescues, delivers.
Jesus is the Door or doorway to God's salvation, and when there is death no more, Jesus delivers all all up to God and Jesus as with us, are subject to God.
As I have said and shown You before, God does not create and give Names, willy nilly, they mean and represent the role has has for that person.
Likewise Jesus now exalted and given a name above all names and by inheritance received the name = The Word "of" God = represents, means, the role he played, to carry the Almighty God and Fathers words of eternal life into the world, the Titus plan, fulfillment.
Jesus named after WORD --> "The" Word = The Word of God.
------------
With respect wotsup, that is a nonsense argument. The bible says exactly what Mr Gordon quotes.
BULL DUST Pear, following are the words from the Greek from which "our" translations come FROM.
And "if" you do a search from where the said words "I had" YOU will find there is NO grounds to ADD the "I".
Even if we were to say "I" belonged, Jesus is still making reference to the plan, which IS Glory before the world was and this verses and the surrounding ones I provided, do not put Jesus literally at the beginning.
Greek = John 17:5 - And now glorify me you, Father, with yourself, insofar as (held) before the world existed, with Y0u.
Now as for Mr G's take, He says Jesus was the first of Gods creation = Wrong in the literal sense as the Heavens were created "before" any hosts, ruling OUT Jesus being the Master worker as they claim for ALL creation, as Jesus would "clearly" be one of the Hosts.
Now consider Titus, harmonizes with perfection of the true John 17:5 verse as shown here;
Titus 1:2 - In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began;
Rev 13:8 Jesus slain beforehand as well.
Reading of the original Greeks etc Pear Bear IS irrelevant, it is simply a decoy of yours, I am drawing upon what the majority claim and from the Same source they have taken their interpretations from, accept in their case, a pre-set mind has had them ADD words which do not belong.
