I reckon you 4 types of investors in markets, no 1, the investor who just starts and loves the feeling. no 2 the investor who has made money and lost it just as quick. no 3 more experienced traders who understand the emotion and wait and top up all the way down but hold. no 4. usually called instos, a more powerful investor who can and will buy at the best time because of numbers.

no 3 and 4 understand how and when to keep quiet, no 1 and 2 listen too much to 3 and 4 and react to it to quickly.

Who wins in the end is 3 and 4 because they understand the anxiety and have thrown a bone to 1 and 2 already in an anxious state, and because 1 and 2 are herd like, they run.

3 and 4 win every time.
