The notion of a 'preliminary' or 'optimized' BFS is a nonsense. A BFS is, by definition, an optimized DFS. There is nothing un-final or un-optimized about it. It is either 'bankable' or it is not. If it is not 'bankable' it is not a BFS. Instead, it is a preliminary feasibility study, not yet 'definitive' or 'bankable'.
Today's announcement implies that the BFS will be delayed again and for quite a long time - and this will give Bergan plenty of opportunity to push the SP down to its optimum entry of under 3c. What happens after that is anyone's guess.
