It is strange to me to see all the back and forth and arguing about how, why and whether the high entity "Jesus" pre-existed before being born as Jesus the man.
Also further complicated by those that insist Jesus is God.
Not at all strange = John 17:3 - This now is the eternal life, that they should know you, the only true God and whom you have sent, Jesus Christ.
Basic Key parts of the Almighty God and Father = Spirit/Word/Light.
A pre-existing Jesus in most case take from God, His Spirit, Word and his Light and give him some strange spirit to replace these 3 = Blows the eternal life requirements above, way out of the ballpark and that's without getting into the, "another" Jesus they have created.
