stumpy, i understand what you are saying ,but what also confuses me is how much pull does the 4 to 3 vote have when one of the againt voters said basically the vote is purely a recommendation to the higher council/commitee(the final decision).he was quoted as saying "they sometimes take our recommendation on board the sometimes dont'. my point about the political correctness was that this meeting was part of the process that he knew would have a fovourable outcome in the final decision and he wasnt going to present at the meeting and say "im mh of aussie company blr and you bunch of hillbillies are wasting your time ra ra ra and we will get to dig up you backyard eventually!!!", then you would have had a 7to0 vote and no hope at all.he will appease the locals by playing the game.
