Back to basics on this announcement.
A bankable Feasibility Study is a “comprehensive study of a mineral deposit in which all geological, engineering, legal, operating, economic, social, environmental and other relevant factors are considered in sufficient detail that it could reasonably serve as the basis for a final decision by a financial institution to finance the development of the deposit for mineral production.”
This is expected to be delivered sometime soon, after being commented on by a number of banks / funding partners. That is odd in itself, but then AUZ says it will release a fully optimised scenario feasibility study during the first half of 2019. The obvious implication is that funding will not be secured based on the feasibility study about to be released, otherwise why do another one?
