Member since 2000. I left town during Sydney Olympics. Didn't feel a reason to come home for a while after, either.
I remember some of the old posters... whose names escape me. No.. I recall Jollyroger! Yeah, he was there.
Maybe some others, but, you know, time plays tricks with a man's mind...
The tech boom? Over in a minute, lost some, won some. No free beers, not like Vegas. Vegas, that was some place.
In fact, I saw Jollyroger in Vegas, across a blackjack table and he was giving some of the locals a right serve. Though waving the cutlass around over his head was perhaps a bit unnecessary...
Besides it drew the attention of some broken-nosed men in dark suits. They all had hearing aids, strange for men so young and fit. I never saw Jolly again after that.
