Plausible denial, remember Murphy is a pro there is no way he will be easily fingered for any wrong doing. He didnt know about the losses and Opes are probably obligated to tell him contractually, so if he didn't know he will claim he does not owe. Something of that flavor will emerge in the months and years to come.
