Up till now I believe 3dp has been concentrating on marketing not selling.If you want to sell new technology products in the region of $100k plus pa that can be tailored to the clients needs it will not happen using twitter or the net.We can assume that most of 3dps potential clients are either contracted to existing suppliers, have spent unnecessarily on expensive computer upgrades or havent yet decided what to do.. It will take face to face contact from experienced sales professionals and personalised rejigging of the product by technical staff to convert these potential customers to monthly sales.
Great to see our new us COO is visiting lots of clients across USA for face to face discussions with potential users. Give that he is now armed with detailed information on how our latest large client has saved 5x dollars invested in Pointerras system he has a huge lever , to use comparison selling techniques to achieve sales.
This is a game changer and importantly will result in full sales revenue from these clients being retained by 3dp and not diluted through partnerships.Given that the energy market alone has over 2500 suppliers in USA he will be busy.
No doubt the smaller value end of the market will begin to produce improved sales results as partnerships with Autodesk and Bentley develop.
That now totals 2 full time and one parttime sales person servicing the world market. Expect that to change very quickly.Impressive board and management team,tightly held shares,small, frugal nimble operation.DYOR.
