Commsec have scored half a point with me.
They just credited me with $5210.00 for 'failing to achieve best price settlement' for me, going back to 2013. Apparently they didn't use chi-x in my sales, therefore not giving me best available price, which their terms of business promise. Did any of you guys get similar? I assume it's all royal commission compliance stuff, although I'd like to think it's because they value my business.
So, given the above, I've contacted Canberra to request royal commissions into the following:
Supermarket/food pricing
Electricity/gas pricing
Internet services pricing/reliability
Alcohol pricing
Motor fuels pricing
Vehicle sales/services pricing
Insurance pricing
Real estate industry practices
Illicit drugs pricing/availability
(I was going to add clothing but I buy bugger all of it and most of my wardrobe is ex-Kmart).
I figure with all the refunds I will receive I can afford to retire early.
