Could someone explain in a little more detail on T+2 , I know it’s the date to settle a stock after purchasing but early other commented the stock could have been pushed down by T+2 dump

On Friday it looked around 75c rose to early 80s but could pressure have come by traders who didn’t want to settle hence the 3pm dump
