Nicely put Grumpy. Just reading through your post actually prompted me to cast my mind back to 2014 when the P&G deal was announced. Although (pumped by traders) the share price hit 13.5c. While I never believed this was a realistic valuation with so much still unknown, it was in anticipation of what the P&G deal could deliver.

Obviously four years have past and we all feel disappointed by what has come to fruition from that ‘initial deal.’

That said, one could argue we actually now find ourselves in a position we thought we might have been in in 2014 but now with the following known knowns:

    • Validation in Market our technology works! In 2014 we had no idea if the partnership with P&G was going to flourish or implode.

    • We are on the cusp of multiple products rolling out with P&G including integrated products and personalisation. A combination which will yield a very accurate royalty assessment. No grey!

    But most excitedly:

    • The negotiation table has been flipped. Our technology works and we are no longer desperate to get a deal across the line. Instead, it’s quite the opposite, P&G need to get a deal done with us to support their upcoming launch plans.

    • A new and enthusiastic board who have much stronger commercial acumen to optimise the point above and any future deals.

    • A board consisting of five members being remunerated the same as three. Now that’s impressive! Thanks Steve!

    • A board with a history of success including establishing start ups which commenced with a $300k investment into product development and turned into a $250m brand.

    • A board who have direct relationships with international retailers with a track record of success. No longer are we bound to P&G’s long winded, complicated path to market.

    • Our top shareholders remain stable and unchanged. To me this is most important.

I am not discounting all the challenges and obvious frustrations, but four years on we have a lot more going for us than we did in 2014.
