I appreciate that they are in a competitive environment so they are unlikely to tell us the whole picture, however I think someone summed it up well yesterday. Again, its a communications issue.

My local Coles and Woolies have been without stock for six weeks now. In my eyes the Management team should be addressing this with Shareholders and saying that there is a supply problem (we just cant keep up) and we believe that the are missing out on sales (of X amount), but this will be addressed in the short term (hip hip hooorah!!) with increased supply from SM! of XX

Saying nothing is not good enough, equally not knowing there is an issue is also not good enough.

So I know, like myself you will continue to hold our very well paid senior management team to account. They have done an excellent job, and I have done very well by it (as have they). BUT I want them to continue to do an excellent job.

You cannot deny they have had comms issues in the past, in either sharing information to the market, or indeed the way they have communicated.

nb I have queried this situation with A2 and received no reply yet (over a week ago).
