I can confirm that this funding package is linked to the ASX listing requirement. Once secured, the funding will meet the ASX requirements of alleviating "the Merged Group's ability to continue as a going concern"
My understanding of finance is a bit simplistic. At the risk of getting flamed in this thread, I gotta ask:
Background: I've seen mentioned before that TAW has no debt
1. So this new debt is to support amal so can fulfill asx req re liquidity?
2. Inspite of this, amal ended up with the larger piece of pie?
3. Is amal's debt a sudden thing that taw did not uncover during dd before merger proposal?
