Hey Banjar, the massive rehab work now going on is Central kalimantan, nothing in the West as I understand as yet. Most of the initial mega rice project was set up as part of transmigration programmes in the 70's. It's declared now as an environmental disaster area - masses of money going in from all over the world to try and redress.
Won't post here now at risk of hijacking the thread any longer, but also heading back up to Indo tomorrow and got to get a few things organised before I leave.
