To even contemplate bringing in a disincentive (read tax) on carbon by 2010 is extremely reckless, when the science is far from conclusive that this is the cause of the so-called global warming.
NOTHING we do in Australia will make the slightest difference to world levels of CO2 in the atmosphere.
All we are doing is penalising ourselves at the expense of the rest of the big CO2 emitters, for what??
