time to update your watchlists my friend. BSG were taken out by the north american Couers d'Alene last year and the latter's stock (or a hologram of such) trades under CXC.
CXC has just turned on a huge silver mine in Bolivia and are working on doing the same to BSG's Mexican project in the next year or two. They have bought the silver production from mines at Broken Hill as well and has other silver (mostly) and gold fields.
Malachite (MAR) are digging around in nth NSW (just on the cockroach side of where MMN's mine is) but is not producing.
BHP is of course one of the major silver producers in the world but silver is immaterial to that commpany's bottom line.
There is no silver ETF trading on the ASX that I know (but there is GOLD for goldbugs).
The other option is to buy a few kilos of the physical metal to use as doorstops.
