Simob - in your words "...putting 9 mill into this well to hold 80% of P42 is a pretty good deal to them.".

I think putting 9 mill into an oil discovery instead of a duster would be a better deal for them!

Although I was suprised to see them select Speke-South rather than one of the larger prospects in this block. I had my mooney on a 100mmbbls plus prospect.

But I think a more logical explaination is that they have selected a smaller low risk prospect, which they're hoping will fund the exploration of some of the more ambitious, larger and high risk prospects in P42.

A nice quick drill which is what I like most about this well. All the best to holders....
