PC43,
If the number of years as a geologist is the criteria with which to speak as an expert, I started out as an exploration geologist in 1969 and moved on to mining geologist so I trump you on that.
This project is working out as expected (apart from drilling problems on Hab-2). So far they have been ticking the boxes.
Confirming the existence of high temps.
Fracing the rock in a horizontal plane.
Enhancing or extending the frac plane.
Establishing communication between wells.
Flow producing steam at better than expected flow.
It's all following a plan. All of these results have been as expected or better.
One thing is they have now got the technique of drilling deep holes licked, they'll just punch them out now. In fact drilling updates will now become ho-hum.
A large chunk of my super fund has been invested in GDY (which happily has doubled in size) so I'm kind of laying my left family jewel on the chopping block, but then my exploration, mining, oilfield and drilling experience of the last 40 years allows me to do that with some confidence.
Have faith.
