i have 3 properties, 2 of which are owned outright and the third is positively geared and the tenants are paying off the mortgage ( by the way, i do also trade the stockmarket with MY money, not the banks ).
Sure, there might be a slowdown/correction but people still need somewhere to live.
You sound like someone who either missed out or bought at the peak with a big mortgage.
Basically, you do not need stocks, you do not need gold/silver etc, what you DO NEED is a roof over your head and this leaves 2 options, own or rent.
By the way, all my properties are within 12km of the sydney cbd. The sydney market has been slow for sometime, apart form the popular inner city and coastal areas. the rest of the country will follow sydney, but will be hit harder.
Anyway, what is the purpose of all your negative posts ? it sounds like you are looking foward to a global catastrophe....
