I am sure almost all advances in human endeavour have experienced a degree of sceptism from those working the the field. Two Australian Drs got a Nobel prize in medicine for what is a relatively simple discovery about bacteria being the cause of peptic ulcers. They were essential ridiculed for years by the gastro establishment.

Your post appears to suggest that GDY will never fly because they have to drill 4 km. Well, they have done this! And I suggest to you - a geologist with 23 years experience - that drilling 4 kms is not a new thing. So what experience do you have in terms of geothermal projects that leads you to your conclusion?
