In my opinion Justice Macaulay is gravely in error in his judgement. He states that exploration for oil and gas was a "right" conferred and authorised under a permit. The Victorian Government withdrew that right which under law it cannot do. I would like to see Justice Macaulays' employment contract with the State as I believe it would contain a requirement that he cannot find against the State. I firmly believe there are shenanegans afoot.
