The real question Malaysia needs to ask itself is who is going to benefit if the LAMP is shut down despite meeting all international requirements placed on it? That kind of precedent sure as hell won't benefit Malaysia.
There is only going to be one winner IMO and that super power is the new coloniser in town. Would be sad to see Malaysia exit a transparent and fair investment sphere and forgo sovereignty they only just regained from the previous coloniser.
