Ok arms, I shall take you at face value.
The latest laws are for chinese ecommerce sites advertising in China. The crackdown is designed to remove fake products and claims from the internet. It doesn't and can't cover sites hosted outside of china that ship into China in small amounts.
Daigou by definition use word of mouth, i.e. they are a trusted source, their sales are mainly to referrals. However some 'Daigou' are probably advertising their services online, if so they may be affected if hosted on Chinaese websites, however these are probably the ones that everyone wants to get rid of as they are small/medium term anyway as they are not trusted.
I agree that the Chinese can occasionally throw a curve ball, but A2 seems ahead of the pack in this area and their Ann at the time supports that view.
