"To ensure that the transaction is successfully concluded, Vector and MGI have agreed to extend the date by which settlement must occur through to 2 October 2018, however, both parties believe the significant momentum achieved to date should see the completion accelerated ahead of this date."

There's only four more trading days until October 2nd, inclusive. The announcement should come out tomorrow if the "significant momentum and completion to be accelerated" is true...

I could suspend belief until Friday that these expressions would still apply...

But October 1st or 2nd is hardly expedited guys.
