Houston we have a problem.

Recently one of my suite of brokers (ANZ) replaced their their platform offering from ANZ Pro (formerly Etrade) to a new platform based on the CMC Markets platform. Now my End of day data is sourced from two brokers currently one being ANZ.

The problem is that ANZ / CMC not longer provides Chi-x + ASX data merged but now only provides ASX Data. As my other data source does not provide Chi-X my data set is incomplete and does not contain any Chi-x.

The implication for this that I can no longer calculate the exact % gains for the STT Competition accurately as often the Chi-x data range for each stock for each day is slightly different ie the days high and low could be higher or lower.

So there are a number of possibilities here:-

1. Source and pay for the Chi-x Data from some where else. Can any one recommend a data provider that gives you both Chi-x and ASX data merged at end day (This may take me several weeks to setup)

2. Get Chi-x data from a free source - Does anyone know any where I can get Accurate Chi-x data for free?

Now I not keen to publish STT Comp results which are incorrect so I thinking of suspending the publishing of STT Comp results until I have this data issue resolved this could be several weeks. Also in the back of my mind is the upcoming upgrade to HC website which will take some considerable effort to to change my programs to scrape competition entries from the new site.

So my thoughts at this point are to suspend the weekly publishing of the STT Comp results until both the above issues are resolved and I have a new source of Chi-x data and the programs have been changed deal with the new HC Site.

So would like peoples thoughts on this if possible.
