I do believe that Lynas is safe. The constant critical comments from people about the Malaysian people are not justified. If fact most are wrong. There is a long history here and understanding it is critical to solving it. Yes it goes back to 1982 but when you watch your parents and friends die from cancer it leaves a lasting impression. The problem will be solved but not by people calling people with a different view fools.

Though I agree that Lynas is safe I see negative impact by a bunch of the owners (stock holders) of Lynas insulting the residents of Malaysia who have endured much. Do you not think people involved with this do not read this board at all. Maybe only a few but the worse comments will be translated and passed around. How would you feel if your brother of sister was born with a birth defect and a close relative died of cancer and the people who built another Rare earth plant in your back yard called you a lot worse than stupid. Lynas is different than Mitsubishi chemical! Worldwide we understand a lot more about radiation and its effect. We know better how to handle it. Insulting those that have endured much will not help the situation.

To bash the people of Malaysia without thinking of the history could make this problem much worse. It will do nothing to Help it.
