Rumours starting to circulate from WA govt that they want LAMP in WA. If Malaysians can pay Lynas damages and a two year grace period where it establishes its plant in WA and relocate there. It will be more expensive to run the Plant in WA in the long term but vastly more efficient and scope for enlargement.
Potentially Lynas can build a Plant where 600t/m NdPr is chicken feed and will look to establish something vastly superior prior to its reallocation.
Western Australian contractors are going to have a field day with $1 billion windfall.
