Even the MD has explained the issue for IBG and other zinc developers - market has only rewarded those in production. The zinc price worked before, but not this time around. So to an extent, you're right - IBG is hostage to the financing situation.
Think you draw a very long bow to extrapolate this to financing profitable projects, Joe whether they be new tech products, mining, agriculture. World is spinning rather well, and financiers will invest where they can extract a decent profit. Citronen promises super profits for more than 20 years.
Good to see zinc price recover lately, hopefully as the financiers are sharpening their pencils to participate
