People need to think for themselves and be very aware of self serving posters...

Never adopt anything you read at face value...and always do you own research.

In time you will learmn to spot the imposters pretty quickly.

In my view, accumulation is pretty obvious here...anyone who has been around long enough would know how to recognise it.

We may well be free of the short-sellng influence from Opes, but there is clearly still supression tactics being employed in todays accumulation.

When you see at-market buys almost instantly followed by a small sell to reduce the prise, or selers always just big enough to roll the stock down to the next level...then you know someone is intent on keeping the stock looking negative intra-day.

As I said, Opes may be out of the equation now...but they sold over 26m shares in less than three months, then bought them all back again...that represents some 10% of all trades in CVI for that period.

By the time they had finished some 2 weeks ago, the damage was done.

They were however just one part of a complex mix of pieces that together have created a false market for CVI in my view...a condition that continues to this day, although does appear to finally be arresting.

Sadly however, we can never undo the lower priced placements, not losses from those either forced to sell out due to loan commitments, or even simply because they got impatient.

A rather sinister part of the mix impacting CVI was clearly orchestrated over the weekend with the Caplin attack....albeit somewhat sinsiter, it was indeed an ntegral piece of the puzzle.

This mornings blatant manipulation of the open activity was yet another part of the mix.

Add the bots, the intra-day broker "flags"...lol...the wider market carnage, the "Angolese process"...the moving goal posts...the nature of communications...and finally the obvious "Global placement" influence...and is it any wonder we are were we are?

None of which mind you relate to the asset base CVI is accumulating...at least this sort of accumulation I can deal with.

    lol

Anyway, it is what it is.

With reference to my contact with the ASX today, I think it fair to mention...

We all need to be aware that our IP's are recorded, along with our posts...any investigation into manipulative trading practices may well involve wider scrutiny.

    Just a reminder really.

Not so long ago I was constantly attacked for speaking of the practice of stock lending and short-selling in specs...not a lot of comment from them now.

Interesting therefore to hear comments suggesting I am posting to agenda regarding the the sort of manipulative trading practices designed to bring down stocks and/or enhance accumulative buying.

    lol.

I guess those engaged in such activities might be the very ones with reason to "protesteth too much"?

    Cheers!
