Next week I would expect an announcement regarding: the ATMOS plant coming online; well connections to the pipeline; and results of any acid stimulation. The company will only make an announcement when they have something significant to say.
The company intends to have at lease 15 of these wells ready for connection to the delivery pipeline when the plant is completed. The plant will initially open and begin to receive gas between April 22 and April 25.
Austin will begin acid stimulating and connecting some wells within a few days of this date. This acid stimulation procedure can increase the natural open gas flow by 300 to 900 percent. The company will begin publishing the Absolute Open Flow (AOF) data for each well during this initial gas delivery phase.
Austin had previously published a calculated AOF based on the natural flow of the well multiplied by the lowest stimulation result (300%) seen from this field to date... so we could see much greater flows.
Be patient ... next week will be AKKs turn to perform.
