    loki01,

I agree with everything you've put down the Chinese actions with respect to Tibet are not excusable, but lecturing them with the wests track history of exploitation is a complete waste of time.

Whether Saddam was good or bad is irrelevant , we just have no right to be there and invasions to exploit oil resources is just as unforgivable as anything China has done in the last 100 years.

Tibet aside you cant run a country with 1.2B people the same way you run Australia and certainly not the way you run the USA. Can you imagine if every Chinaman had the right to bear arms.

We are at the end of the "oil age" not the end of the "energy age", just like the ages of wood and coal ended so will the oil age end but the Peak Oilers stand on their own toes in that they have incredible knowledge about fossil fuel production and almost zero knowledge about alternates.

There is billions of dollars being invested in Algae based biofuels globally.

If you believe in the fading oil story then have a look at CFU, 100M oil burning boilers still installed Europe and CFU are the leading contenders to replace them.
