I reckon management has some good NZ news to report.
"The a2 Milk Company have licensed their a2 Milk™ brand to Fonterra to launch into fresh milk in New Zealand. a2 Milk™ became available in select stores in New Zealand from July FY19, and will become more widely available from October FY19"
Please release this along with a trading update. Simply start reporting quarterly sales like retailers and you should have a very positive story based on the growth pipeline. I would say 30% growth would be the minimum.
This will send the shorters back home. Only around 28 million shares have been shorted. Let's say a good announcement will send these shorters to their cave.
