Norsk Hydro is producing smelter grade alumina SGA 99.5% which costs less than 1000 per tonne basically. This aluminum produce from bauxite feedstock is mainly used for aluminum cans. In the market we have SGA 99.5% , 3N 99.9%, 4N 99.99% and 5N 99.999%.
Atc is targeting a more premium 4N HPA product that is 2 level higher that SGA. You need to compare apple to apple. Moreover, Norsk Hydro is under the water now as they are battering legal case due to environmental issue.
