Those interests are aligned. When LYC is profitable, both shareholders and employees are happy.
If LYC is treated unfairly by a rogue quasi and very backwards politician, then both shareholders and employees will not be happy.
If LYC closes in Malaysia, LYC has other options. Their Malaysian employees will go back to the third world poverty from which they came. Do you think they'll be thanking Fuzzy Silly then?
