I am hanging on already for more then 6 years, and are still positive on the story.
The thing with Rio was very clear...RIO had no plans what so ever to bring their part of southdown into production...it was a silent asset in their portfolio.
Then GRR started making plans bringing their part of southdown to production....then GRR start knocking on the door of RIO to buy their part of Southdown...it took them 2 years of knocking and finally they did a deal...RIO went for share/option deal....smart in my view, but that does not make them an active shareholder...or GRR a rio protege.
