Check out the Charles Renoir Red Burgundy (Gamay) from Aldi.
About $9 I think.
I looked it up and they say 2016 is one of their best ever.
They also make a Beaujolais.
Very drinkable but I suppose the aficionados will spit it out, like a nephew I have who wouldn't stay in the same room with a bottle under $40-50.
