So Fruity, you tell me how a trace gas such as CO2 causes global warming. How is it possible for a concentration of .037-.04%, it's not even 0.1% going to have any affect on the climate? Why not O2 which is around 21% or N2 which is 78%? Why demonize CO2?
But I know why and so do you!
It's all because you and your other would be believers have a dislike for the burning of fossil fuels and the ignorant fact that you also believe CO2 is a pollutant! For God's sake you can't see CO2, you can't smell it or taste it. I'm sure at some stage in your life you have had a glass of champagne. Guess what the bubbles are CO2, or you may have had a bottle of soda water. If so then shame on you for drinking something which contains a pollutant.
If it weren't for the very low concentration of CO2 in our atmosphere we wouldn't have any life on this planet. CO2 is the most important naturally occurring gas we have and there is barely enough because 100's of millions of years ago that much higher CO2 concentration in our atmosphere was gobbled up by plants, huge forest trees and other types of vegetation, which eventually went on to become our very important fossil fuel requirements. In doing so, so did the CO2 concentration decrease in our atmosphere.
So in truth, should you wish a further greening of the Planet, then what is required is a greater concentration of the one and only gas that plants and nothing else can utilize, CO2. Get it. Because if you don't then you're sillier than I thought you were!
