Morning @Pan head, I feel your concern but I am sure its all ok. Please correct me if I am wrong but I believe their is nothing consistant currently in the country that doctors can prescribe. I know there is sublingual wafers being trailed I believe in NSW or VIC for MS and epilepsy sufferers and possibly a mouth spray propriety method being used also for trials.
I am positive that CGB know there is currently no mainstream tablet type medication available and will want to be the first to bring it into Australasia. I should of but haven't researched Canntab much at all. Its obviously well past the research, trial phase in Canada and is being manufactured for sale (if not already on sale in Canada). This product could possibly become the mainstream medication used by GPs. CGB will be well aware of this and will be scrambling to get this side of the business producing income. Obviously they cant manufacture it until facility is built but in the mean time their is nothing stopping them from importing it, promoting it and distributing it for trials and trying to get it out there before others. With all the current MM companies trying to get a product mainstream in Aus asap whoever initially gets there first will reap the rewards. GCB will be well aware of this and I would not be surprised if an ann relating to Canntab is released before or not long after relisting.
