DYOR but for me its about understanding that research and weighing up potential. I held both COE and CVN throughout 07, but after careful leverage comparisons decided to sell my 250,000 COE in December 07. As an investor rather than a trader (that bit is vital as to what you choose) I could see more long term growth and leverage in putting CVN in the bottom draw rather than COE. YMMV
As a long term holder if you look at the highs and lows of the past year, CVN has been 0.105 - 0.775 vs COE 0.46 - 1.45. So if I was in the market to sell CVN on Monday I certainly wouldn't complain about my return.
I know of no other mid cap oiler that has been so successful in its strike rate while most others are drilling dozens of dusters and/or finding uneconomic oil.
