Hi Noodly. The group was formed because many of us thought that at that time, the shares in the Company were very low. At the price they were then trading at, we were concerned about a cheap take over. For that reason, omotivated one H.C. member motivated a group of holders to form to act as a blocking group needs be, preventing a hostile take over. Naught came of it but it was there should have the need occasioned it. From memory ( perhaps erroneously) the collective totaled about 22% of available shares though that amount is a bit fuzzy.
