Baron, the US has already lost any support it had as the self proclaimed "worlds policeman", and what would be so "horrific" about a world without the US militarily asserting its dominance. The UN needs to have a strong military component to deal with the worlds problem areas and any nation acting unilaterally should be thrown out and economically sanctioned. The same must happen to nations ignoring its resolutions, and power of veto scrapped. It has to be completely democratic and inclusive, or remain a humanitarian food dispenser.
