The Grapes of Wrath by Steinbeck. A classic. This book is a bit like a Jackson Pollock painting- not the copy you see in books- but the real thing. The more you look, the more you see, layer upon layer. The book is brilliant- if you've never read it- do yourself a favour and get a copy- the library should have one.
