Perhaps now is the time to really go on the offensive! Compared to 2012 Lynas is now stable with 6 years of good corporate citizenship, they have verifiable data to prove the efficacy of their plant, and more importantly they have solid financial numbers.
Their are 2 principal attack dogs in Fuzzy and Wong Tak against Lynas - unlike 2012 they have money which could be wisely spent bringing the issue to a head - while politicians are secure in spreading false and corrupt accusations in the sanctum of the parliament, they wouldn't enjoy the same immunity on facebook or in local papers.
Their capital would be wisely spent now engaging these naysayers in court - Lynas should counter either one of these (preferably Wong Tak ) using aggressive defamation proceedings, thus flushing out all the innuendo and inaccuracies.
Why not? These are fringe players in the Mahatir government coalition. They need to be held accountable and thus put Lynas on the front foot in this ridiculous situation.
