An advisor is a statutory fiduciary but not the fundie or the lender in all the jursidictions I know of. So not sure what your point is.
WB is heavily into financials and holds for decades so no he would be essentailly passive.
WB would value this at around $67.69 so whilst its just scrapping into a buy there is no "margin of safety". Still CBA has always traded at a premium and I imagine if he were to consider CBA it would be around the $60 mark or lower. CBA's premium is what he calls a castle he likes castles.
I mean even an active trader I mean you think this is the top of the cycle?
As for dividends well they retain 25% they can maintain the div and absorb alot. I think thats what they will do.
