I read/have read a little bit about Africa over the years & grew up with a couple of what we call ‘Yaapies’, even going to school for a couple years in the area where it seems that many settle in Sydney- St.Ives- ( I have never seen it written but that’s what we call our Afrikaans friends & hope it’s not rude as we never used it in a rude way ), so might have the ANC featuring a bit too prominently in my head.
