summarise the new CEO's presentation of the 21st Sept 2018 as follows:
-new organisational structure focussed on professional contract mining
-potential partners: mining, finance & customers
-mining PCI by Dec 2018
-dredging river & relocation of barge loading
-mining coking coal by Dec 2019
There is no mention of coal quality or price premium so we will have to rely on Sharejagers learned estimate that CKA's PCI will draw a 15%-20%
premium due to its excellent qualities.
If CKA starts PCI mining in December, then the big questions are:
-in what quantity
-what %age of the revenue will CKA get (detail will be revealed once current contract negations are complete)
-how will the new contracts effect CKA's claim to total profit until its initial investment is recovered?
Given recent developments( some might say, the lack thereof) including the employment of the new CEO, what are the opinions out there on the post Dec volumes, $/ton. mining costs & CKA's share of revenue/profit etc. After all, the market looks forward.
PS: It would seem reasonable that if CKA has to forfeit some of its 60% ownership of BBM, then the Indonesian 40% partner should have to do ditto!
