I have been thinking about BOW and have come to the conclusion that this Opes thing has really had a big effect on Aussie Junior oilers. With a bit of luck we might be able to get the ANZ make up the shortfall to Opes clints. I mean their logo was all over it and whilst not the same case the BNZ had to bail oil Access Brokerage and pay the client accounts.
Anyway, their are a lot of shareholders who believe in this story having recently forket out for 25 cent placements and 20 cent options. And Opes hasnt changed the fundamentals.
And so I think ahead to the Cooper Basin drills by Santos and am comforted by the fact that Santos had some compelling reasons to get back into this fairway particularly after what INP has come up with. I reckon the chances are 50/50 and if we found what we are looking for the first drill would be worth $200 million or over 50 cents a share after royalties ,taxes etc .
Santos arent fools and will be looking for a big showing.
