    On that note, I still don't understand why the potential acquiree wouldn't of just wanted to take over SRK straight down the bat if they wanted this deposit badly enough.

    It's fair to say that a takeover at $3.50-$4 would of most likely succeeded and it would of cost them less than trying to buy the deposit for US$650m. Find that a little odd to tell you the truth but anyways.....
