macrae;
directors did not buy before the Sp fell. if you look at brierties disclosure no share was purchased above 60c !
the brierty themselves have oodles of cash, they just listed at $1 per share, took out a quick 30 mil or whatever it was. but Brierty Ltd is strapped for cash
also when comparing your profit, look at revenue, also look at operating costs etc.. the whole package.
2005
revenue: 72mil
trading profit: -1m
Equity -31k
2006
revenue: 90m
profit: 3m
equity: 6m
** note net decrease in cash of 4.4mil
2007
revenue: 155m
profit 4mil
** note revenue increases by 65% but profit by only 33%
so for getting another 65million in contracts in 2007 they only made another 1 million dollars ???
i sure hope this recent contract has more profit included but i don't have high hopes. at the moment they seem to loose cash very quickly...
p.s. fatrat.. they are paying cash mate, people just gave them $1 per share for a stock now worth under 60
